Michael Owen reckons Premier League champions Leicester City will have to settle for a 1-1 draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.

The west London side were denied three points on Wednesday night after a 1-1 draw with Liverpool at Anfield despite an impressive performance from the west London side.

Eden Hazard scored a superb solo goal in the first half to break the deadlock but his compatriot Christian Benteke capitalised on a mistake from Asmir Begovic to level with minutes remaining.

Champions Leicester, meanwhile, celebrated their Premier League title success with a 3-1 victory over rudderless Everton at the Liberty Stadium last weekend.

Former Liverpool and Manchester United striker Owen reckons the Blues will manage to hold the champions to a point on Sunday.

“I’d love Leicester to finish off the season on a high by winning at Chelsea, but I think they may have to settle for a 1-1 draw,” Owen told Colossus Bet.

Leicester were 2-1 winners against Chelsea in December, which resulted in Jose Mourinho’s sacking.
