David De Gea could leave Man United unless this manager replaces Louis van Gaal – report

David De Gea is expected to stay at Manchester United if Jose Mourinho is appointed as next manager, according to Daily Telegraph

David De Gea could leave Manchester United this summer unless Jose Mourinho is appointed as Louis van Gaal’s replacement, according to the Daily Telegraph.

The Spain international’s future is up in the air after the Red Devils failed to qualify for the Champions League for the first time under Van Gaal.

De Gea was on the brink of a £25m move to Los Blancos last summer before the proposed switch fell through on the final day of La Liga’s transfer window.

According to the Daily Telegraph, De Gea is likely to stay at Old Trafford this summer in the event that Mourinho becomes United’s new manager.

The 24-year-old won the club’s player of the year award for a record third successive season after another influential campaign in goal for United.
