Eden Hazard says he can’t wait to face Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United side next season.

The 53-year-old was named as the Red Devils’s new manager on Friday morning as Mourinho made a return to football management for the first time since being sacked by Chelsea in December.

Hazard, who was named the 2015 PFA player of the year, struggled to produce his best form last term and was made one of the scapegoats for Chelsea’s poor league performances which led to Mourinho’s sacking.

However, the Belgium international, who is set to star at this summer’s European championship in France, is already looking forward to the prospect of taking on Mourinho’s United outfit in the Premier League next term.

“He is a fantastic manager,” Hazard is quoted as saying at a media conference on Saturday. “I wish him good luck. I would really want to play against his team.”

Hazard has been linked with a shock move to United in recent days following Mourinho’s appointment.
