Gary Lineker hails Jose Mourinho effect after Man United duo’s goals
Gary Lineker jokes that Jose Mourinho has already had an impact at Manchester United
Gary Lineker has taken to social media to joke that Jose Mourinho has already had a positive impact on his Manchester United strikers Marcus Rashford and Wayne Rooney.
Rashford scored less than three minutes into his senior England debut on Friday night, before Rooney also found the net in the Three Lions’ 2-1 friendly win over Australia at the Stadium of Light.
Mourinho was officially unveiled as Manchester United’s new manager on Friday morning after days of speculation linking him with the job.
The Portuguese coach will now turn his attentions towards readying his squad for his first season in charge at Old Trafford.
And former England striker Lineker has joked that Mourinho is already having an impact on some of his players.
What a manager Jose Mourinho is. He's only been United boss for a few minutes and his players are scoring for fun.
