Photos: Granit Xhaka snapped at Arsenal training ground ahead of proposed transfer
Granit Xhaka appears to have signed for Arsenal, if these photos from social media are anything to go by
Granit Xhaka appears to be closing in on a transfer to Arsenal this summer after photos of him at the club’s training ground emerged on social media.
Switzerland international Xhaka has long been linked with a move to the north London club and the speculation linking him with the Gunners has gathered pace since the end of the Premier League season.
Now, it appears that he is on the verge of concluding his deal to join the Gunners after he was pictured at the club’s London Colney training ground posing in an Arsenal shirt on Saturday.
The photos come after Xhaka appeared to like a post of a fan wearing an Arsenal shirt with his name earlier this week.
Earlier this week, the Independent reported that the 23-year-old is set to command an initial fee of £25m, but that figure could rise to as much as £30m, depending on his success at the north London club.
The midfielder scored three goals and made one assist in 28 Bundesliga appearances for Borussia Monchengladbach last season.
Arsenal are looking for reinforcements in the summer transfer window after a disappointing trophyless season for Arsene Wenger’s men.
