Harry Kane: My thoughts on Man United starlet Marcus Rashford
Harry Kane has revealed that he is a keen admirer of Manchester United youngster Marcus Rashford
Harry Kane has revealed that he has been thoroughly impressed by what he has seen from Marcus Rashford for Manchester United this season.
The 18-year-old forward has earned plenty of new admirers for his impressive displays for the Red Devils since breaking into the first team this season.
Rashford announced himself to the Old Trafford faithful by scoring four goals in his first two starts for the club.
And the young striker has kept up his impressive displays, scoring eight goals in 17 games for Louis van Gaal’s men.
Rashford was included in Roy Hodgson’s 26-man England squad for this summer’s European championships in France.
And Tottenham striker Kane admits that he is a keen admirer of the young forward and is tipping him to shine on the international stage.
Kane is quoted as saying by Sports Mole: “He’s been outstanding. Full credit to him, he deserves his place.
“He’s young, he’s come in and shown no fear of playing on the big stage and he’s just expressed himself. He’s not been fazed by playing in the Premier League and hopefully he can take that onto the international stage.
“We are looking forward to meeting him when he reports next week, seeing his ability.
“He’s shown – the back end of the season – that he can score goals and he’s a real talent. If you’re playing for England, you’re going to have threats for your position.”
Hodgson will drop three players from his 26-man squad before this summer’s tournament in France.
