Hector Bellerin comments on whether he’s happy at Arsenal
Hector Bellerin rules out the possibility of leaving Arsenal in the near future
Hector Bellerin has ruled out the possibility of a transfer away from Arsenal this summer, insisting that he is feeling at home at the north London club.
The Spanish full-back has quickly established himself as a regular in the Arsenal first team since breaking into the side last season.
Bellerin has been a regular starter for Arsene Wenger’s men this season, making five assists and scoring one goal in 36 Premier League games for the Gunners to help them finish in second place in the table.
Bellerin joined Arsenal from Barcelona as a teenager and there have been suggestions that he could head back to Camp Nou in the future.
However, the 21-year-old has moved to distance himself from those claims by insisting that he is happy at The Emirates.
Bellerin is quoted as saying by El Mundo Deportivo: “I say this every year, for me my home is in England.
“Many years I’ve lived in England, I have my family there, I’m living with my girlfriend.
“I am very happy there, so I don’t see myself anywhere else other than Arsenal.”
Arsenal ended up above Tottenham in the table after their final-day win over Aston Villa.
