The Portuguese coach is expected to get straight down to business in the transfer window after being appointed as the club’s new manager on a three-year contract on Friday.

Mourinho is believed to be on the lookout for defensive reinforcements as he looks to build a team capable of challenging for the Premier League title next season.

Now, the Daily Express is reporting that Mourinho has told United officials to do what they can to bring defender Stones to Old Trafford this summer.
