Jurgen Klopp gives positive Liverpool injury update ahead of West Brom clash

Jurgen Klopp says Liverpool trio could return to face West Brom on Sunday afternoon

Jurgen Klopp has revealed that Jordan Henderson, Danny Ings and Divock Origi could all return for Liverpool when the Reds face West Brom at The Hawthorns on the final day of the Premier League season on Sunday.

Henderson has been sidelined since a 1-1 draw with Borussia Dortmund in Germany last month after the Reds captain suffered an ankle injury.

Origi, meanwhile, saw his goal-scoring run come to a cruel end after a poor challenge from Runes Fures in Liverpool’s Merseyside derby win appeared to end the striker’s season.

His fellow Liverpool striker Ings hasn’t played a single minute under Klopp after the former Burnley man suffered a serious knee injury in one of the manager’s early training sessions in October.

Speaking at his pre-match media conference on Friday afternoon, Klopp revealed that the Liverpool trio could all make returns to action against the Baggies on Sunday.
