Key Man United man agrees new contract after Jose Mourinho arrival – report
Marcus Rashford is set to sign a new contract with Manchester United, say reports
Marcus Rashford has agreed a new contract with Manchester United worth around £25,000 a week, according to reports.
Rashford has earned plenty of new admirers since breaking into the Red Devils’ first team under Louis van Gaal last season.
The 18-year-old striker followed up his impressive performances for United by scoring on his senior England debut in the 2-1 win over Australia last week.
Now, the Daily Mail is reporting that Rashford has been rewarded for his sparkling form with a new contract at Old Trafford, just days after Jose Mourinho was appointed as the club’s new manager.
The same story goes on to say that Mourinho is excited about working with Rashford and is an admirer of the forward.
Mourinho signed a three-year contract with the Red Devils on Friday after days of speculation linking him with the job.
His appointment comes after United sacked Louis van Gaal two days after the Red Devils lifted the FA Cup.
