Liverpool make £20m Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder top target – report

Liverpool have made signing Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud their top priority, according to Daily Express

Liverpool are reportedly desperate to sign Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud in the summer transfer window, according to the Daily Express.

The Reds were thought to be closing in on a deal to sign Empoli and Udinese midfielder Piotr Zielinski in the next few days after reports in Poland suggested a deal was nearly completed.

However, Liverpool still haven’t announced any swoop for the Poland international despite speculation suggesting that the £11.6m deal would be wrapped up after the Europa League final.

According to the Daily Express, the Reds have made Monchengladbach star Dahoud their first-choice target this summer ahead of Zielinksi.

Arsenal are on the brink of completing a deal to sign Granit Xhaka in a £33.1m deal from Monchengladbach after the midfielder was photographed in the Gunners’s new home kit.
