Liverpool to conclude £20m deal for Bayern Munich star – report

Liverpool are confident of pushing through a deal to sign Mario Gotze this week, say reports

Liverpool are hopeful of concluding a £20m deal to sign Mario Gotze from Bayern Munich this week, according to reports.

The Reds are understood to be keen to get their summer transfer business done as soon as possible and have been strongly linked with a move for the Germany international in recent weeks.

Now, The Sun is reporting that the Reds are hoping to push through a deal to bring Gotze to Anfield in the coming days as Jurgen Klopp looks to strengthen his squad ahead of his first full season in charge on Merseyside.

The same report goes on to say that Klopp’s relationship with Gotze is the key to the deal and that the Liverpool boss is hopeful that he could help fire the Reds to a top-four finish next season.
