Liverpool are favourites to sign £15m-rated Braga midfielder Rafa Silva, according to Daily Express

Liverpool are ready to activate Rafa Silva’s £15m contract release clause, according to Daily Express.

The Reds have been linked with a swoop for the 23-year-old midfielder in recent days as Jurgen Klopp looks to bolster his options ahead of the 2015/16 Premier League season.

The Braga midfielder has scored 12 goals and has made eight assists in 49 appearances for the Portuguese club this season, prompting reported interest from Manchester United.

According to Portuguese website ZeroZero quoted by Daily Express, Liverpool are the favourites to sign the midfielder, who has a £15m contract release clause.

Liverpool suffered the disappointment of losing a second final under Jurgen Klopp on Wednesday night after a 3-1 defeat by Sevilla in the Europa League showpiece in Basel.
