Louis van Gaal to stop Man United signing £70m Dortmund striker – report
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could snub a move to Man United due to reservations over Louis van Gaal, according to Daily Mail
Louis van Gaal could hinder Manchester United’s attempts to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the summer transfer window, according to the Daily Mail.
The Red Devils have been linked with a £70m move for the Gabon international as United look to chase their top target having missed out on Renato Sanches last week.
Aubameyang scored 39 times in 46 games in all competitions for Dortmund in the 2015/16 season as Thomas Tuchel’s side finished as Bundesliga runners-up.
According to the Daily Mail, United could miss out on Aubameyang due to the striker’s reservations over current Red Devils manager Van Gaal.
The 20-time English champions finished in fifth place in the Premier League behind Manchester City on goal difference after a 3-1 win against Bournemouth on Tuesday night.
Van Gaal’s side can still end the season with some silverware if United beat Crystal Palace in the FA Cup at Wembley on Saturday afternoon.
