Man United ready £65m bid for Chelsea man as Jose Mourinho’s first signing – report

Eden Hazard could follow Jose Mourinho to Manchester United this summer, according to reports

Jose Mourinho wants to bring Eden Hazard with him to Manchester United in a deal that could be worth as much as £75m, according to reports.

Mourinho finally put pen to paper on a three-year contract with the Red Devils on Friday morning after days of speculation linking him with the Old Trafford role.

Attentions will now inevitably switch to the summer transfer window and Mourinho’s plans to strengthen his squad at Old Trafford.

Hazard’s future has been a relentless source of speculation in recent months after a season in which he struggled for form and fitness with Chelsea after helping the Blues win the Premier League under Mourinho in 2014-15.

Now, football writer Emanuele Giulianelli has claimed that Mourinho has already spoken to the 25-year-old Belgium international about the prospect of joining him at Old Trafford this summer.

He tweeted:

Mourinho signed for United on Friday and has the option to extend his contract until at least 2020.
