Man United suffer blow after agent provides Zlatan Ibrahimovic transfer update

Zlatan Ibrahimovic hasn't received a contract offer from Manchester United, according to his agent

Manchester United have not offered Zlatan Ibrahimovic a contract, according to the Sweden striker’s agent.

The 13-time Premier League winners were thought to be leading the race to sign the much-coveted Paris Saint-Germain striker ahead of interest from Serie A side AC Milan and a host of other top clubs.

The 34-year-old Sweden captain, who is set to play in Euro 2016 this summer, has already confirmed that he will leave Ligue 1 champions PSG when his contract expires at the end of June.

According to RMC, the 13-time Premier League winners have offered Ibrahimovic a one-year contract which includes the option to extend until 2018.

However, the PSG striker’s outspoken agent Mino Raiola has denied reports linking United with a contract offer as Ibrahimovic continues to be the subject of relentless speculation.

“In this world we have to accept some journalists use their imagination and make things up,” Raiola told Sky Sports News. “The story is not factual.”
