The 23-year-old has emerged as one of the summer’s big talking points after the Reds were thought to be on the brink of signing the Germany international.
However, Gotze reportedly fired his agent and committed his future to Bayern last week despite being heavily linked with a switch to Anfield.
The Bayern forward played under current Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp during the 48-year-old’s eight-year spell in charge of Borussia Dortmund.
Even Bayern chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge urged Gotze to carefully weigh up his future at the Allianz Arena.
But Gotze is adamant that his long-term future at Bayern is not his concern until after this summer’s European championship in France.
“I’ve said everything about this,” Gotze told FourFourTwo.
“Now I’m at the Euros and don’t want to say anything about this.”
Bayern are thought to value Gotze in the region of £20m.
