N’Golo Kante comments on his future amid Arsenal transfer talk

N'Golo Kante comments on suggestions that he could be set for a transfer away from Leicester this summer

N’Golo Kante has insisted that he is happy to stay at Leicester City “for the time being” after helping the Foxes win the Premier League title last season.

The midfielder earned plenty of praise for his consistent performances for Claudio Ranieri’s men last season as he helped his side record a stunning Premier League victory.

Kante, like many other of Leicester’s side, has been linked with a move away from the King Power Stadium this summer, and Arsenal are among the teams to have been touted as a possible destination for the midfielder.

However, the player has moved to distance himself from those reports and has insisted that he is happy to stay on at Leicester beyond the summer transfer window.

Kante is quoted as saying by L’Equipe: “For now, I am happy at Leicester.

“I do not pay too much attention to everything that is said. For now, I am in Leicester and I focus on the Euros.”

Kante is believed to have a £20m release clause in his contract at Leicester City.
