Liverpool defender Alberto Moreno reflects on 1-1 draw with Chelsea

Alberto Moreno admitted that he was sad to have played his last game at Anfield – for this season – after Liverpool’s 1-1 draw with Chelsea on Wednesday night.

The Spain international started at left-back for the visit of the Blues and Moreno endured a tough night against an impressive Chelsea side on Merseyside.

2015 PFA player of the year Eden Hazard broke the deadlock in the first half with a superb solo goal to take his tally to four goals in four games for the west London side.

However, Christian Benteke managed to keep Liverpool’s unbeaten record in the Premier League intact after the 25-year-old striker scored a late header to secure a point.

And Moreno took to Instagram to reflect on Liverpool’s home campaign in the Premier League ahead of the final game of the season against West Bromwich Albion.

He wrote: “Last home game last night 😞😞 Big thanks to all @liverpoolfc for your support this season 😃😃🔴🔴🔝🔝 #anfield #ynwa #liverpoolfc #lfc #thanks #weareliverpool #wearereds #seeyouanfield”
