Alexis Sanchez is clearly a fan of the new Arsenal home kit and his new shirt number...

Alexis Sanchez has taken to social media to reveal his approval of Arsenal’s new Puma home kit – as well as his new shirt number from next season.

The Chile international will wear the number seven shirt from next season after the squad number was vacated by Tomas Rosicky’s departure from the north London club at the end of the season.

There had been some speculation about Sanchez’s future at Arsenal beyond the summer as he enters into the final two years of his contract at The Emirates.

But the 27-year-old looks more than ready to perform for the Gunners next season if his latest post on Instagram is anything to go by.

Sanchez posted the picture above of himself wearing Arsenal’s new Puma home kit with the number seven, and simply wrote: “…. ⚽️👌🏽”
