Mesut Ozil continues to enjoy a few days off ahead of the start of Euro 2016 in France
Mesut Ozil looked to be in good spirits as he jetted away from a brief trip to Dubai as the Arsenal midfielder enjoys some downtime ahead of Euro 2016.
The World Cup winner has been making the most of some rare time off after helping Arsenal secure a second-place finish in the Premier League table this season.
Ozil enjoyed a trip to Dubai over the weekend and looked to be in a good mood as he jetted off on Sunday following his brief visit.
The playmaker posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “Goodbye Dubai! I hope to see you soon again Thx to @emirates.”
Ozil was one of the Premier League’s standout performers this season.
The 27-year-old scored six goals and made 19 assists in 35 Premier League games for the Gunners as they pipped local rivals Tottenham Hotspur to a second-placed finish in the top flight.
He also scored twice in the Champions League group stage for Arsene Wenger’s men.
