David De Gea looks to have made quite the catch off the pitch after the Manchester United goalkeeper’s saves were honoured at the club’s awards ceremony on Tuesday night.

The Spain international became the first United star to win the Sir Matt Busby player of the year for three consecutive seasons after another outstanding campaign between the sticks.

The 24-year-old has underlined his status as one of the world’s best goalkeeper after managing to keep 14 clean sheets in 34 Premier League games for the 20-time English champions.

And his pop star girlfriend Edurnity was thrilled for De Gea as the Spanish beauty dedicated a message to the Real Madrid target following his feat on Tuesday night.

Edurnity wrote on her Instagram page: “The man of the year, felicidades!!! 👌🏼👏🏼 @d_degeaofficial”

De Gea sent a message to the United supporters on social media after picking up his United player of the year award.

United make the trip to Norwich City in the Premier League on Saturday.
