Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin reacts to being named in the PFA Premier League team of the year

Hector Bellerin was all smiles with his PFA award ahead of Arsenal’s home clash against Aston Villa at The Emirates on Sunday.

The Spain Under-21 international was voted onto Facebook’s Premier League team of the year after establishing himself as Arsenal’s undisputed first-choice right-back ahead of Mathieu Debuchy.

Bellerin has scored one goal and has made four assists in 35 Premier League games for Arsene Wenger’s side, including his strike in the Gunners’s 4-0 win against Watford at The Emirates.

And the 20-year-old proudly posed with his PFA award after securing his place in the Premier League team of the year following an outstanding season in the Arsenal side.

Bellerin wrote on his Instagram page: “Happy to be handed the award for @the_pfa team of the year. 😃”

Arsenal are in third place in the Premier League table and two points behind Tottenham Hotspur after Sunday’s 2-2 draw with Manchester City at The Etihad.
