Jack Wilshere dedicates a touching Instagram message to Tomas Rosicky after Arsenal exit is confirmed

Jack Wilshere has paid a touching tribute to Tomas Rosicky ahead of the Arsenal midfielder’s departure this summer.

Arsene Wenger confirmed that the experienced Czech Republic midfielder would be allowed to leave the Emirates Stadium at the end of the season.

Rosicky hasn’t played a single minute in the Premier League this season in what has been an injury-hit campaign for the 35-year-old midfielder.

The Gunners star has won two FA Cup crowns and has scored 28 times in 246 appearances for the north London side since his move from Borussia Dortmund in 2006.

And Wilshere, who only just returned from a long-term injury, thanked Rosicky for being a source of inspiration throughout his fledgling Arsenal career.

Wilshere posted the above photo on his Instagram page and wrote the following caption: “This guy has been with me since the start of my career, through thick and thin and always showed me the way when things have been tough. Going to miss him around the place and even more on the pitch. It’s been a pleasure my friend and I wish you all the luck in the world. #TR7”
