John Terry gives Chelsea supporter an insight into his summer break
John Terry soaked up some rays on holiday after the Chelsea captain signed a new one-year contract at Stamford Bridge.
The 35-year-old centre-half was belatedly offered a one-year contract by the west London side ahead of Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Leicester City at Stamford Bridge on the final day of the 2015/16 season.
Terry gave a cryptic end-of-season speech on the pitch at The Bridge but failed to clear up his future after the former England international had previously revealed that the Blues wouldn’t be offering the long-serving captain a new contract in the summer.
However, the Blues defender was in a notably brighter mood as he posted a photo of his view on holiday on Friday morning alongside his wife Toni.
Terry wrote on his Instagram page: “☀️ @toni26terry”
Chelsea finished in ninth place in the Premier League table after a disappointing season.
The former England defender has won four Premier League titles, the Champions League, the Europa League, four FA Cups and three League Cups as Blues skipper.
