Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson is planning to be at Anfield next season despite West Ham speculation
Jordan Henderson has promised that Liverpool will provide more great nights at Anfield next season after the Reds drew 1-1 with Chelsea in their final home game of the season.
The 25-year-old watched on from the stands as Christian Benteke scored a late equaliser to cancel out Eden Hazard’s brilliant opener on Merseyside.
Henderson is facing a battle to be fit for Liverpool’s clash against Sevilla in the Europa League final in Basel next Wednesday.
The Reds captain hasn’t featured for Jurgen Klopp’s side since a knee injury which Henderson suffered in the first leg of Liverpool’s 5-4 aggregate win against Borussia Dortmund.
And Henderson appeared to confirm that he will be going nowhere in the summer despite reported interest from West Ham after his Instagram post on Thursday morning.
Henderson wrote on the photo-sharing app: “Thank you for all your support at anfield this season! There’s been some great games here this year, let’s hope there’s even more next season! #YNWA”
