Liverpool striker Danny Ings relaxes with his niece

Danny Ings relaxed with his niece on Saturday evening as the Liverpool striker wound down following a dramatic first season at Anfield.

The 22-year-old has spent most of the 2015/16 campaign sidelined with injury after the Liverpool summer signing suffered a serious knee problem in one of Jurgen Klopp’s early training sessions after replacing Brendan Rodgers.

Ings, who moved to Liverpool from Burnley last summer following an exceptional Premier League campaign for the striker despite the Clarets’s relegation, made his comeback in the second half of the Reds’s 1-1 draw with West Brom in their final Premier League game of the season.

Unfortunately, the England Under-21 striker didn’t feature in Liverpool’s 3-1 defeat by Sevilla in the Europa League final as the Reds lost their second cup final since Klopp took over the reins at the Merseyside club.

But Ings was cheering himself up with some quality time with his niece on Saturday evening as he put his feet up.

He posted the above photo and wrote: “Chills with this one
#niece ❤️”
