Morgan Schneiderlin takes to social media after Manchester United's appointment of Jose Mourinho
Morgan Schneiderlin has taken to social media to reveal his excitement ahead of next season following Manchester United’s appointment of Jose Mourinho.
The Portuguese coach was finally unveiled as the club’s new manager on Friday morning after days of speculation linking him with the Old Trafford job.
News of Mourinho’s appointment followed the Red Devils’ decision to sack Louis van Gaal just two days after United won the FA Cup.
Schneiderlin had been training with the French national team in recent days but has been left out of his national side’s squad for Euro 2016.
And as he travelled home to spend some time with his loved ones, the midfielder posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account.
Schneiderlin wrote: “After a few days training with the French national team 🇫🇷 I hope they will win the Eurocup.
“It’s time for me to leave the camp and to be back home with my family and friends.
“Despite a few disappointements, I learned a lot from this season, and I promise that I will come back stronger and determined as ever! #whatdoesntkillyoumakesyoustronger”
Mourinho will inevitably now turn his attentions to the summer transfer window and the plans he has to strengthen his squad at Old Trafford ahead of his first full season in charge.
