Mario Gotze celebrates Bayern Munich success amid Liverpool link

Mario Gotze referenced his “personal path” as the Bayern Munich forward celebrated their Bundesliga triumph on Saturday afternoon amid continued reports linking him with a move to Liverpool.

The World Cup winner won his third successive Bundesliga winner’s medal since Gotze moved to Pep Guardiola’s side in 2013 from their bitter rivals Borussia Dortmund.

However, Gotze has been heavily linked with a reunion with his former Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp, who is currently in charge of Europa League finalists Liverpool.

Even Bayern and Germany legend Franz Beckenbauer urged Gotze to make the switch to the Merseyside outfit and link up with his former manager Klopp ahead of the 2016/17 season.

However, Gotze had more important things on his mind on Saturday, like celebrating Bayern’s Bundesliga title success after another dominant season in the German top flight.
