Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini sends message to Tomas Rosicky

Mathieu Flamini has paid tribute to his friend Tomas Rosicky as the Arsenal pair prepare to leave The Emirates this summer.

Gunners manager Arsene Wenger confirmed that Mikel Arteta, Flamini and Rosicky were all set to leave the north London club at the end of the season.

Rosicky received a guard of honour in their final home game on Sunday, while Arteta was an 88th-minute substitute in a 4-0 victory over Aston Villa.

And Flamini, who has featured more frequently than his midfield colleagues over the course of the 2015/16 season, dedicated an Instagram message to Rosicky.

Flamini wrote on his Instagram page: “Proud to call you my friend Tommy..!! We have shared so many memories together & I will always remember them with happiness. Wishing you only the very best of luck in the future. 🙏🏽 #arsenal #gunners”

The France midfielder made 16 appearances in the Premier League this term, while he scored a memorable brace in a 2-1 win against Tottenham Hotspur in the League Cup.
