The Germany international completed a £4.7m switch to Premier League giants Liverpool from Bundesliga side Mainz on Tuesday afternoon.
Karius has put pen to paper on a five-year deal with the Reds as he became Jurgen Klopp’s first signing of the summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old has already been handed the number one shirt in a sign that Simon Mignolet’s days as first-choice goalkeeper could be numbered.
And the former Manchester City youth player posted the below with his pals in Ibiza on Friday afternoon as Karius made the most of a summer break.
Mignolet has been Liverpool’s first-choice goalkeeper since moving to Anfield in a £9m deal from Sunderland in 2013.
However, the Reds haven’t won any silverware since Mignolet became their first-choice goalkeeper, losing in the League Cup and Europa League finals this year.
