Ryan Mason has taken to social media to insist that Tottenham will bounce back stronger than ever next season after a disappointing end to the campaign.

Spurs ended up third in the Premier League table and were pipped to second place by bitter local rivals Arsenal on the final day of the season.

The Lilywhites, who had challenged for the Premier League title for much of the campaign, were thrashed 5-1 by Newcastle United.

And Arsenal ended up leapfrogging them on the final day of the season as they beat Aston Villa 4-0 at Emirates Stadium.

However, despite the disappointing end to the campaign, Mason was quick to thank Tottenham fans for their support during the season – and promised that he and his team-mates will bounce back.

Mason posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “Just wanted to say a huge thanks to all of the fans for your incredible support this season.

“Not the end we wanted but a great season overall and we will be back stronger.”

Tottenham ended up conceding the Premier League title to Leicester City earlier this month when they were held to a 2-2 draw by Chelsea.
