Mousa Dembele works out in what appears to be his garden

Mousa Dembele appears determined to continue his excellent form into the summer after an influential season for Tottenham Hotspur.

The Belgium international was one of Mauricio Pochettino’s most-consistent players as Spurs challenged Leicester City for the Premier League title.

Dembele scored a respectable three goals and made two assists for the Lilywhites, although it was his dominance of midfield that really impressed for Spurs.

And the 28-year-old is determined to reproduce his club performances on the international scene as Dembele trained on Wednesday afternoon.

Dembele posted the above photo and wrote: “Getting ready for the Euros with @correia.makengo 👍🏽💪🏽”

The Lilywhites needed just a point to finish above north London rivals Arsenal in the table for the first time in Premier League history.

However, Mauricio Pochettino’s side were soundly beaten 5-1 by the Magpies at St James’s Park as Arsenal were 4-0 winners against Aston Villa.
