Mousa Dembele was missing his son on international duty on Monday as the Tottenham Hotspur midfielder prepared to help Belgium win Euro 2016.

The Spurs man was one of the driving forces behind the north London side’s Premier League title bid in the 2015/16 season after a string of influential performances for Mauricio Pochettino.

Dembele scored three goals and made one assist in 29 top-flight appearances for the Lilywhites as Tottenham finished in third place – their best-ever Premier League finish.

The Spurs midfielder appeared to be feeling a little homesick on Monday, though, as he Skyped his young son.

Dembele posted the above photo and wrote: “Skype kiss from my boy 💙”

The Belgium midfielder missed the final two Premier League games of the season due to a FA ban following a violent conduct charge.
