Luke Shaw takes part in Manchester United training at Carrington ahead of Sunday's FA Cup final clash

Luke Shaw has handed Manchester United a significant boost after he was pictured in training with his team-mates at Carrington on Thursday morning.

The defender has been out of action since September after suffering a broken leg during the Champions League defeat by PSV Eindhoven.

However, the England international is now closing in on a return to action and looked in good shape during training on Thursday morning.

United are currently gearing up for their FA Cup final clash with Crystal Palace at Wembley on Saturday afternoon.

The Red Devils ended up fifth in the Premier League table after their 3-1 win over Bournemouth on Tuesday night.

Also pictured in Thursday’s Manchester United training session were the likes of Wayne Rooney and Phil Jones.
