Ray Parlour reacts on Twitter to Arsenal’s 4-0 win, Tottenham’s 5-1 loss

Ray Parlour takes to Twitter after Arsenal finish above Totteham Hotspur

Ray Parlour took to Twitter to celebrate Arsenal finishing above Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League table on Sunday afternoon.

Mauricio Pochettino’s Lilywhites side required just a point to secure second place and a finish above Arsenal for the first time in the Premier League era.

However, Spurs lost 5-1 to Newcastle United at St James’s Park to finish the Premier League season with a three-game winless run since a 2-2 draw at Chelsea earlier this month.

Arsenal hoisted themselves above Tottenham and into second place thanks to a 4-0 victory over Aston Villa at the Emirates Stadium in their final game of the season.

Former Gunners midfielder Parlour couldn’t hide his delight on Twitter after a stunning 4-0 win against Villa sealed runners-up spot for the north London outfit.

Arsenal haven’t won the Premier League title since 2004.
