David De Gea was crowned Manchester United’s player of the year for a record third successive season earlier this week.

And Oulala’s stats confirm the Spain international is a worthy recipient of the club’s end-of-season award.

The fantasy football game have analysed the stats of every United player and De Gea easily comes out on top.

After missing the opening four Premier League games of the season, De Ge has gone on to make 34 top-flight appearances for the 20-time English champions over the rest of the campaign.

The 25-year-old has kept an impressive 14 clean sheets in 34 games, helping to keep United’s top-four bid alive despite some turgid performances from his United team-mates.

Only Tottenham have conceded less goals than Van Gaal’s side and De Gea has played a huge part in that record after letting in just 29 of the Red Devils’s 31 goals this term.
