Thierry Henry makes confession about Tottenham star
Thierry Henry is a keen admirer of Harry Kane...
Thierry Henry has admitted that Harry Kane is likely to be England’s key man at Euro 2016.
The Tottenham Hotspur striker has been in sensational form for the north London side over the last two seasons and played an integral role in Spurs’ Premier League title challenge this term.
The 22-year-old forward scored 31 goals in 50 games for Tottenham in all competitions this season as he established himself as one of the Premier League’s most feared marksmen.
Kane is likely to play a key role for Roy Hodgson’s England side at Euro 2016 next month.
And Henry has admitted that the Spurs striker is a constant threat in front of goal for club and country.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Henry said: “I have to mention Harry Kane.
“You [England] finally have a guy who can bail you out in some games. If you are defending you know he can always score at any moment.”
Kane was unable to fire Spurs to Premier League glory this season after the north London side were forced to settle for a third-place finish behind bitter local rivals Arsenal in the table.
