Thierry Henry has admitted that Anthony Martial has been a “revelation” for Manchester United this season and is expecting big things from the striker at Euro 2016.
Martial has earned plenty of new admirers since his arrival at Old Trafford from Monaco in a big-money transfer deal last summer as a relatively unknown talent.
The 20-year-old scored 11 goals and made four assists in 31 Premier League games for the Red Devils as they ended up fifth in the table.
The France international also scored twice in the Champions League group stage for United before their elimination in December.
Former Arsenal striker Henry has admitted that he is a keen admirer of the forward and is looking forward to seeing how he performs for France this summer.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Henry said: “Anthony Martial has been a revelation this season.
“He had a good season with Monaco the year before, but people were questioning whether he was going to be good or not at Manchester United.
“He has showed everyone he can be that guy.”
Martial won a trophy in his first season at United as the Red Devils beat Crystal Palace to lift the FA Cup on Saturday.
