Thierry Henry sends heartfelt message to Arsenal duo
Thierry Henry dedicates a Twitter post to Arsenal midfielders Mikel Arteta and Tomas Rosicky
Thierry Henry paid tribute to Arsenal midfielders Mikel Arteta and Tomas Rosicky after the experienced pair ended their Gunners careers on Sunday afternoon.
The Spanish midfielder managed to make an appearance for the final two minutes of Arsenal’s 4-0 victory over Aston Villa at the Emirates Stadium on the final day of the season.
Arteta replaced Arsenal’s club-record signing Mesut Ozil to make just his ninth appearance of the season from the bench after Wenger confirmed that the captain’s contract won’t be renewed in the summer.
Rosicky, on the other hand, didn’t feature in the match day squad as the Czech Republic international calls time on a 10-year career at the north London club.
And his former team-mate Herny posted a message for Arteta and Rosicky on Twitter after the end of their respective Arsenal career.
