Tottenham scout £20m Dutch striker amid Arsenal interest – report

Tottenham Hotspur are monitoring Vincent Janssen, according to Sky Sports

Mauricio Pochettino was at Aviva Stadium in Dublin to watch Netherlands striker Vincent Janssen on Friday night, according to Sky Sports.

The Spurs manager was spotted at the Republic of Ireland’s 1-1 draw with the Dutch in Dublin ahead of this summer’s European championship.

The 21-year-old striker scored an impressive 27 goals in 34 Eredivisie games for AZ Alkmaar last season, prompting interest from Arsenal.

According to Sky Sports, Pochettino was in the Irish capital to have a look at the Dutch striker as the Tottenham manager looks to ease Harry Kane’s workload ahead of the 2016/17 Premier League season.

Spurs missed out on the Premier League title after a 2-2 draw with Chelsea earlier this month handed the top-flight crown to Leicester City.
