Agent confirms Liverpool and Man United interest in Paul Pogba – report
Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool have all held talks with Paul Pogba's agent about signing the midfielder
Paul Pogba’s agent has revealed that he has held talks with Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea about a possible transfer for the France international.
The France midfielder’s future has been a source of relentless speculation in recent weeks as he continues to be linked with a transfer away from Juventus this summer.
Real Madrid are believed to be the club most keen on signing Pogba in the summer transfer window, although United have also been credited with a serious interest in the midfielder.
However, Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola has suggested that both Liverpool and Chelsea have expressed an interest in signing the player.
Raiola is quoted as saying by Metro: “It is not a secret. Every year I meet with Madrid, but also with United, Barcelona, City, Liverpool, Chelsea.
“It’s my job. In the last two years my relationship with Real Madrid is again clear and professional.
“Now there is serious dialogue, it’s positive. They know my character and how I am.”
United let Pogba leave Old Trafford in the summer of 2012 after he was deemed to be surplus to requirements by then manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
He has since gone on to develop a reputation for being one of the hottest talents in Europe.
