Ander Herrera was all smiles as he paid a visit to Real Zaragoza on Wednesday afternoon amid the uncertainty about his future at Manchester United beyond the summer.
The Spanish midfielder’s situation at Old Trafford has been a subject of speculation since Jose Mourinho’s appointment as the club’s new manager.
Mourinho has signed a three-year deal to become the Red Devils’ new boss and the Portuguese coach is currently in the process of revamping his squad ahead of next season.
There have been reports that Mourinho is preparing to axe a number of Manchester United players as he prepares for his first campaign at Old Trafford, and Herrera has been one of the names linked with a move away from the club.
And the midfielder’s latest Instagram post documenting a visit to Real Zaragoza will do little to quell the speculation about his future.
Herrera posted the picture above on the app and wrote: “Bit of work this morning.”
