Arsenal have agreed a £1.5m deal with Bolton to sign youngster Rob Holding this summer, according to reports.
The 20-year-old has been heavily linked with a transfer away from Bolton in recent weeks, with Arsenal said to be leading the chase for his signature.
The youngster was voted as the club’s player of the year by fans last season and now appears to be heading for the exit door.
The Daily Express is reporting that Arsenal have agreed a deal to sign the England under-21 international from the Trotters this week.
The same report says that both Tottenham and Everton were believed to be interested in the player but Arsenal have now won the race for his signature.
Holding is said to have favoured a move to Arsenal, with the Gunners having to up their initial bid of £750,000 for the player.
