Arsenal legend admits he wants to see Man United make this signing

John Hartson wants Manchester United to sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic this summer

John Hartson has admitted that he would love to see Zlatan Ibrahimovic seal a transfer to Manchester United this summer.

The Sweden international has been heavily linked with a transfer to Old Trafford since Jose Mourinho’s appointment at the club.

Ibrahimovic is currently a free agent after he left Paris Saint-Germain at the end of last season and could secure a move to the Premier League to join his former boss Mourinho at Old Trafford.

And former Arsenal striker Hartson concedes that he would love to see Ibrahimovic move to the Premier League and prove himself in England.

Hartson is quoted as saying by Metro: “It would be great if he came. I’m sure he has many options but we’d all love to see him.

“If he’s going to come to England, he’ll go to Manchester United and that will be that.

“He’s not getting any younger and we all want to see him here.”

Mourinho is believed to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as the Portuguese coach prepares to revamp his squad ahead of his first full season in charge at the club.
