Arsenal are keen to bring Riyad Mahrez to The Emirates this summer and have tabled a £25m bid
Arsenal have made a £25m bid to bring Riyad Mahrez to Emirates Stadium from Leicester City this summer, according to reports.
The north London side have been heavily linked with a number of players in recent days as Arsene Wenger bids to revamp his squad ahead of next season.
Arsenal are thought to have triggered the £20m release clause in Jamie Vardy’s contract in recent days in an attempt to lure the striker to north London.
The Gunners have also been linked with an ambitious swoop to bring Mahrez to The Emirates.
Now, the Daily Express is reporting that Arsenal have lined up a £25m bid to bring the PFA Player of the Year to the club.
The same story goes on to say that Arsenal officials met up Mahrez’s representatives a number of times to make sure he’s open to the move before tabling a bid.
The 25-year-old scored 17 goals and made 10 assists for Leicester last season.
