Arsenal to make £32m bid to sign Argentina star – report

Arsenal are lining up a big-money bid to bring Mauro Icardi to The Emirates from Inter Milan this summer, say reports

Arsenal are lining up a big-money bid to bring Mauro Icardi to The Emirates from Inter Milan this summer, according to reports.

The north London side have been linked with a host of players in recent days as Arsene Wenger prepares his side for the 2016-17 season.

Arsenal have thus far only signed midfielder Granit Xhaka this summer despite being linked with so many of Europe’s top stars.

Wenger has signalled his intention to bolster his attacking options at The Emirates by tabling a bid to bring Jamie Vardy to the club from Leicester.

However, after Vardy turned down a move to Arsenal in favour of staying at the King Power Stadium, talkSPORT is now reporting that the Gunners are lining up a £32m bid to bring Inter Milan star Icardi to the club.

The same report says that Arsenal first showed an interest in signing the Argentine last summer and are set to make a £32m offer for the 23-year-old.
