Arsenal turn to Bayern Munich superstar as Jamie Vardy alternative – report
Arsenal are interested in signing Robert Lewandowski this summer, according to reports
Arsenal will turn their attentions towards trying to sign Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich this summer if they fail to lure Jamie Vardy to The Emirates, according to reports.
The north London side are still waiting for Vardy to make a decision about his future after the Gunners tabled a bid in the region of £20m for the England striker.
Arsene Wenger suggested over the weekend that Vardy had made up his mind to stay on at Leicester City beyond the summer transfer window.
That scenario would leave Wenger still looking to strengthen his attacking options at The Emirates ahead of next season.
Now, the Daily Mirror is reporting that the north London club would consider a move to sign Poland star Lewandowski should they fail in their attempts to land Vardy.

The same report says that Wenger is a keen admirer of the former Borussia Dortmund striker but that the Gunners would face competition from the likes of Real Madrid, Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool for his signature.
