Arsenal want to make Brazil starlet their second signing – report

Arsenal have turned their attentions towards signing Brazil starlet Gabriel Barbosa this summer, say reports

Arsenal have turned their attentions towards signing Brazil starlet Gabriel Barbosa this summer after missing out on Jamie Vardy, according to reports.

The Gunners have been linked with a host of players as Arsene Wenger bids to revamp his squad ahead of next season.

Wenger has already signalled his intention to bolster his attacking options at The Emirates by tabling a bid to bring Vardy to north London.

That move failed to materialise but the Gunners are still thought to be keen to bring in fresh attacking talent this summer.

Now, The Sun is reporting that Arsenal have their sights set on signing the 19-year-old striker Barbosa from Santos.

The same report goes on to say that Serie A side Fiorentina have already tabled a £25m bid for the striker as he continues to be linked with a move away from his native Brazil.
