Brazil winger comments on proposed Man United transfer
Felipe Anderson hints he is still open to leaving Lazio to join Manchester United this summer
Felipe Anderson has revealed that he could still be on his way out of Lazio this summer after his failed transfer to Manchester United in January.
The winger was heavily linked with a move away from the Serie A side to join Lazio in the January transfer window but the transfer failed to materialise.
United are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new players this summer as Jose Mourinho prepares for his first season in charge at the club.
The Red Devils have already signed Eric Bailly from Villarreal and tied veteran midfielder Michael Carrick down to a new contract at Old Trafford.
Now, Anderson admits that he could still be tempted into a transfer to United should the Red Devils table an offer for him this summer.
Anderson told Globo Esporte: “I don’t know why it [a January transfer] didn’t work out. But I’m very calm, I have a long contract ahead.
@I have a good relationship with the club and when I get an offer that is good for me, and especially for the club, I will leave.”
